TBRC Knowledge Base Usage Policy

The contents of all Knowledge Base documents are available to any interested party on an open and free basis. Users may, at their discretion, copy any part of a document and use it for whatever purposes they wish, as long as proper credit is given to TBRC.

This applies to the following Knowledge Base documents:

Outline note: Outlines are multi-faceted Knowledge Base documents. They provide lists of titles in a collection but may also provide analysis and commentary. Listing titles in a collection involves transcribing Tibetan titles into extended wylie and while this provides the essential basis for access, it does not utilize scholarly knowledge. Users can therefore copy title listings and locations into other sources at their discretion with proper credit to TBRC. In Outlines where considerable analysis and commentary is provided, TBRC asks that this knowledge not be copied but be referenced directly to a TBRC Outline as a citation.

Deep Linking

If users wish to deep link to a TBRC Knowledge Base document, they may use the following persistent interface:

http://tbrc.org/link?RID=XX

where XX = RID of Work, Person, Place, etc. There is no deep linking interface to an Outline.
